Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Deadball processes, why it is used, and the choices available to you when you play the game or use its account and social features.

Last updated: October 1, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Deadball game and its related multiplayer, account, friends, lobby, and notification services (together, the “Service”). Deadball is provided by Berserkr LLC (“Berserkr,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Deadball can be played without providing a real-world name. Some online, account, and social features require information described below.

2. Information we process

Game, device, and connection information

  • A random Deadball installation identifier used to connect your device with multiplayer and lobby services.
  • Your chosen player display name, lobby and match participation, scores, game state, invitations, and related multiplayer requests.
  • Internet Protocol (IP) address, network-port information required for live play, and basic technical information such as device model, operating system, app version, connection events, and diagnostic logs.
  • A Firebase installation or Cloud Messaging registration token used to deliver optional game-ready, friend, and private-game notifications.

Optional account and social information

  • If you sign in, a Firebase user ID, display name, sign-in provider, and a Deadball friend code.
  • If you use email/password or Google sign-in, authentication information is processed by Google Firebase Authentication. Passwords are not sent to or stored by the Deadball game server.
  • Your friends, friend requests, presence status, and private-game invitations.
  • If you choose to use a friend-discovery feature, Deadball may process one-way hashes of contact identifiers or a Play Games player ID. Raw contact values are not uploaded for matching.

Analytics information

Deadball includes Google Analytics for Firebase. It may automatically process app launches, interactions, notification events, device and app information, approximate country derived from an IP address, and device or advertising identifiers. We use this information to understand game usage and improve reliability and features.

No precise location: Deadball does not request Android precise- or approximate-location permission and does not collect GPS location through the game.

3. How information is used

We process information to:

  • provide multiplayer games, scoring, lobbies, matchmaking, accounts, friends, presence, and invitations;
  • authenticate users and protect the Service from abuse or unauthorized access;
  • deliver notifications you allow;
  • maintain, troubleshoot, measure, and improve Deadball; and
  • comply with legal obligations and protect users, Berserkr, and others.

4. Service providers and sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers that process information as needed to operate Deadball:

  • Google Firebase Authentication for optional account sign-in;
  • Google Analytics for Firebase for app measurement;
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging for notifications; and
  • hosting and network providers that deliver the game services.

These providers may process information in countries other than your own. You can review Firebase privacy and security information and the Google Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.

5. Retention and security

Account, display-name, device-link, friend, score, and notification-token records are retained while needed to provide the Service and until they are deleted or no longer reasonably necessary. Live presence and active match state are generally short-lived. Technical logs and analytics information are retained according to operational needs and the applicable provider settings.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. The app's account, lobby, and matchmaking requests use HTTPS, and its live game and in-app chat connections are encrypted in transit to the Deadball game server, which the app authenticates; the server refuses unencrypted game and chat connections. Chat is not end-to-end encrypted: the game server relays each message to the other players. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your choices and account deletion

  • You can deny or disable Deadball notifications in Android settings.
  • You can sign out of an optional account and control Google account permissions in your Google settings.
  • Uninstalling Deadball stops future collection by the installed app, but it does not automatically delete information already held for an account or multiplayer service.

To request deletion of your Deadball account and associated server data, or to request access or correction, email Berserkr using the link below. Include the display name, friend code, or sign-in email needed to identify the account. Never send your password.

Request Deadball account deletion

We may need to verify that you control the account before completing a request. We may retain limited information when required for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

7. Children's privacy

Deadball is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it as appropriate.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Deadball or its legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy at this URL and update the date shown at the top.
